DELIVERY POLICY

We deliver to any address within 6 miles radius from IG8 7NZ –  Woodford Green (London). Customers are entitled to free delivery with no minimum spending if the delivery area is located within 2 miles from IG8 7NZ.  For orders beyond the 2 miles radius, a 30£ minimum purchase is required for free of charge delivery or, if the minimum order is not met, a 7£ delivery fee will be charged at the checkout. We deliver on every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 10:30 and 11:15. Although our team will always try our best to ensure punctual delivery for our customers, ‘5chefsproject’ will not be responsible if a delivery arrives late due to any circumstances outside of ‘5chefsproject’ control.

If you change address, you must update your address details on the “My Account” section of the 5chefsproject.com website to ensure that no deliveries are sent out to the wrong address. Please ensure this is done at least 24h hours before the day before your next order is due to arrive. We are unable to provide refunds for any deliveries sent to the wrong location where we have not received advance notice under this paragraph. If the new address is outside our delivery area, the order will be automatically cancelled and the refund will be processed based on the notice period given.

ALLERGY, INTOLERANCE, COELIAC DISEASE, AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

A mandatory question regarding any eventual allergy is required to be answered to when making a purchase and, can be found during the checkout before proceeding with the payment. The information provided is subject to the customer’s responsibility. In case of illness, 5chefs catering service does not take liability if the information provided on your order has not been entered accurately. 5chefs catering service reserves the right to contact you should additional information be required from 5chefs catering service to complete your order. Although we work in a safe and regularly cleaned kitchen and, all our staff is properly trained and, special procedures are in place while making orders with dietary requirements, we do handle all 14 allergies stated by the law therefore if you’re unsure of the suitability of a certain product, please do contact us before making any purchase. The main 14 allergens are stated in each of the product descriptions.

The allergy guidance does not apply to our catering & private chefs services as we offer bespoke menus directly agreed with our customers in such events. In the case of caterings or private chefs events, a separate allergy datasheet will be sent from 5chefs catering service upon agreement.

ORDERS AND DELIVERIES

Order Acceptance Policy

5chefs catering service reserves the right, at our absolute discretion, to accept or reject any order requests without giving reasons. In case of rejection, 5chefs catering service will refund or cancel any payments received in full, via the same payment method used to make the order.

Timing of your order

Customers will be able to select the delivery date during the checkout process. As we are a small team making fresh food every day, we do require 7 days pre-order. To maintain our high service standard, 5chefs catering service allows order requests only between 7 and 14 days from the day you are placing your order. If you wish to place an order for a longer period, kindly contact us via our ‘Contact us’ section, and we will manually enter the order for you. In the event of a manual order entered from 5chefs catering service, payments made by the enquiring customer must follow to complete your order. If customers already have an existing account on this website, the payment option will be accessible from the ‘my account – order’ section. If a customer is checking out as a guest instead, a payment link will be sent via the email address used during the checkout process. The link will lead you to our website where customers can securely pay. 5chefs catering service gives the possibility to customers to chose a delivery slot, and we will always try to be there by the selected time, but we reserve the right, to our absolute discretion, to deliver between 10:30 am and 11:15 am on the intended delivery day.

Changes to your order

If you wish to change your order, please do so via the “My Account – order’” section where you will be able to amend your order. Alternatively, please contact us at 5chefsproject@gmail.com.  We always welcome and we will do our best to make last-minute changes for you, however,  we can only guarantee changes that are requested 4 days before the agreed delivery date. Albeit, we reserve the right, to our absolute direction, to refuse any changes in case of impossibility from 5chefs catering service

Cancellation policy

To cancel your order, please let us know 4 days before the intended delivery date and we’ll be happy to provide a full refund. Cancellations made after this notice period will occur in o50% of the refund given, or, a full charge in case the order is cancelled 24h prior the delivery day. You can cancel your order on ‘My account – order’ section, or by contacting us at 5chefsproject@gmail.com or 07462788125. 

PAYMENTS

We accept all major payment method  such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. To offer the best security, all our payments are processed securely by Paypal.

When creating an account, your card payment details will be securely stored by Stripe so that future purchase can be made without re-entering your card details. 5chefs catering service has no access to your credit or debit card details and no information on your payment details are stored.

PRICING

All our prices are inclusive VAT unless otherwise stated.  Delivery charges are stated in your order when applicable.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Freshness, Damages & Returns

Our pasta, sauces, garnishes, bakery products and pastry are carefully packed to ensure they remain fresh and arrive in perfect conditions. If the food we deliver to you does not seem fresh or unacceptable for eating, please contact us at 5chefsproject@gmail.com to let us know. If at our discretion, we consider the food does not meet our standards, customers can either choose for a free replacement at our next available delivery date, or a refund. Please keep in mind that a proof (photo, video etc.) of the status of our product is to be sent within 24h of receipt to be eligible for a refund. If a refund is offered, 5chefs catering project will accept the refund within 3 days. Please allow 3-5 days from when the refund is accepted for the refund to get back into your account. 

As we are selling a perishable product, we are unable to accept returns. A replacement or refund is offered to our customers when things don’t go right from our end. 

Non-Delivery

While we do everything we can to make sure our food is delivered at all the time, sometimes mistakes happen and, deliveries don’t arrive. If we fail to deliver your order, we will send you a free replacement on our next available delivery date, or a refund. If we offer you a refund, we will process the full amount to be paid within 3 business days. Please note that additional 3-5 days are needed for the refund to return into your account.

Product availability

All our ingredients are bought fresh from local suppliers therefore, they are subject to availability. In the event of any product shortage, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to substitute any product with an alternate product of a similar style and equivalent (or greater) value and quality. Customers will be made aware of any eventual new allergy if a product is changed due availability.

OFFERS AND PROMOTIONAL CODES

All offers are valid from the time that we introduce them to the end date of the offer and, they cannot be used for purchases before or after the item was listed at the discounted price.

If an item price is discounted after a purchase is made, it will prevail in the price of the item at the time of the purchase. We are unable to offer special offer discounts for purchases that have already been made.

Our special offers could be based on availability, therefore, we may change the terms of special offers and promotional codes, at any time, and without prior notice.

We also reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to offer different personalized special offers and promotions and it will therefore only be possible for the customer in receipt of the special offer to redeem the discount.

Unless otherwise stated, discounts and credits are available only once to any one person. Discounts and credits aren’t cumulable and must be redeemed one at the time.

Discounts and voucher codes can only be redeemed against our food and not for delivery charges or any additional cost.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Voucher can be redeemed on a minimum order of £35 and,  will work on offers available on our website but aren’t redeemable with other promo codes.  You will be asked to meet the minimum spending f the amount paid by the customer results in falling below £35. All Gift Cards ordered online will be sent in digital format to your email address and applies to our usual terms and conditions apply to Gift Voucher. At the moment, we don’t offer a physical copy of any Gift Voucher.

Gift Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash. All Gift Vouchers are dated and can be used up to 3 months from the date of issue.  No refunds will be processed in respect of the purchase of Gift Voucher.  

The refund policy for our Gift Voucher is the same as our general Terms of Service.

5ChefsProject is not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.

SITUATIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

5chefs catering service cannot accept responsibilities in the case we won’t be able to attempt delivery in the event of unforeseen reasons outside of our control. We will do our best to deliver your order at the next delivery day available. We will not offer any refund on such occasion.

CATERING & PRIVATE CHEF TERMS OF SERVICE

  1. A 50% deposit is to be paid as per confirmation of the event. The remaining 50% can be paid up to 1 week before otherwise, 5chefs catering serves reserves the right of cancelling the event without any given reasons.
  2. Events cancelled up to 1 week before the date of the event, will be fully refunded by 5chefs catering service via the same method of payment used to place the order. In case of events cancelled by 5chefs catering service, 25% of the deposit will be taken by 5chefs catering service as penalty fee and, the remaining 25% of the deposit will be refunded to the customer via the payment method used to place the order.
  3. Our catering & private chefs’ menus are agreed by 5chefs catering service directly with the customer and can vary from event to event therefore a separate allergen datasheet will be issued when the menu options are confirmed. The allergen data sheet viewable and downloadable from the website doesn’t apply to any catering & private chefs’ event and, the 5chefs catering service does not take responsibility in case of illness occurred by the customer negligence in referring to the wrong allergen datasheet.
  4. For any private chefs’ service, 5chefs catering service will be physically inspecting the kitchen and any relevant areas of where the event will take place. If for any circumstances, a physical survey won’t be possible, customers will be asked to share pictures of their kitchen and any area of interest via email/WhatsApp. 5chefs catering service guarantees that all the information given by our customers via email/WhatsApp, will be stored securely and won’t be shared with any third party and are not intended for any commercial purpose. Every sensitive information shared from the customer will be destroyed by 5chefs catering service as soon as the event has taken place.
  5. The private chefs’ service includes; a kitchen oversight (physical or digital); a menu interview in which 5chefs catering service and the customer will agree on the menu to follow; assistance in setting/clearing the table (to be agreed with the customer); food service; clearing and tiding the working station used by our chef.
  6. The full amount is to be paid in advance and, it can be split in a 50% deposit for booking confirmation and, 50% payable up to 1 week before the date of the event.
  7. For any private chefs’ service, an extra £50 will be asked in advance as a deposit for any eventual damage caused by the customers to any of 5chefs catering service equipment and, for any extra time our chefs will be working. If all terms are respected, the £50 deposit will be returned by 5chefs catering service via the same method of payment used to place the order.
  8. 5chefs catering service does not take responsibility for any damage caused to any guest, or any property damage.

GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE

We reserve the right change these Terms and Conditions should we change our operative way and you will be notified if this happens, however, we invite you to review our Terms of service from time to time should you miss any updated info, and is completely our customer’s responsibility to be up to date should any change occurs. 

Additionally, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the 5chefsproject site and/or the 5chefsproject services for any reason at any time.

These Terms of Service shall be deemed to include all other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms contained in the 5chefsproject website, provided that in the event of a conflict between any such other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. If any of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

A person who is not a party to the agreement between you and us has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of the Terms and Conditions but this does not affect any right or remedy which exists apart from that Act.

In respect of fraudulent misrepresentation, this agreement (including any documents and instruments referred to herein) supersedes all prior representations, arrangements, understandings, and agreements between you and us (whether written or oral) and sets forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and us relating to the subject matter hereof.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed by English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
